Public Interface Batch Submission

This section describes America's Job Bank Public Interface version 5.0. The Public Interface (PI) is a bulk job transfer system that allows employers to send their jobs directly to the America's Job Bank database instead of using the online interface.

You can use this documentation to find out what kind of files to create, how to send them to us, how to test them for compliance, and how to be accepted to “go live” and have your jobs put into our database. It also shows you how to keep tabs on your PI processing to make sure it always works the way you intend.

You can also access an easily printable, up-to-date version of this document in Portable Document Format (PDF) at http://www.ajb.org/help/employer/AJBPISpecification.pdf.

You can also access this Help document directly (from outside America’s Job Bank) at http://www.ajb.org/help/employer/Employer37.html. Copy this Uniform Resource Locator (URL), paste it into your browser’s URL field, and display the page. You can add this URL to your list of bookmarks or favorites for easy reference.

Note: All AJB employers are encouraged to review the Public Interface documentation to determine whether or not they want to use this option. You must register before implementing any of the following instructions. See "Public Interface Registration" for instructions on how to register as a PI employer.
