Creating a Resume Scout
You can create a job scout from any Resume Keyword Search. You must access Edit Resume Scout to activate or edit your search. See "Deleting a Resume Scout" for more information.
Or
You can create a new Resume Keyword Search and Resume Scout simultaneously from the Resume Scouts screen.
- Click on the NEW RESUME SCOUT button on the Resume Scouts screen.
Or
Click on the NEW RESUME SCOUT button in the Resume Scouts section of the My Account page. The Create Resume Scout screen appears.
Note: You must enter information in the fields marked with an asterisk (*).- Click on the Scout Name field, and type a name for your job scout.
- Enter the required job search information. See "Using Keyword Resume Search" for instructions.
- Select a schedule from the Run Scout drop-down list. Resume Scout will run the search as scheduled, and e-mail you with updates.
Note: Select Never from the drop-down list to deactivate a Resume Scout without deleting it.- Click the SAVE button to create your Resume Scout. The Resume Scouts screen reappears with your new resume scout displayed.
