Heading Navigation

The heading navigation section contains the following elements:

Navigation Bar

The Navigation Bar appears at the top, right of the Home Page, and contains the following hyperlinks:

JOB SEARCH - displays the Quick Search page.
MY ACCOUNT - displays the Job Seeker home page.
FOR EMPLOYERS - displays the Employer home page.
HELP - displays help specific to the page you are on.

Login

Login at the top of the AJB Home page.

Click on the USER NAME field, and type the user name you established when you registered.
Click on the PASSWORD field, and type the password you established when you registered.
Note: You must enter your user name and password exactly the same way you entered them when you signed up with AJB to include upper and lower case.
Click on the LOG IN button. Your My Account screen appears.

Retrieving a Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your password, click on the hyperlink Forget your password? below the PASSWORD field. The Password Retrieval screen appears.
Click on the USER NAME field, and type the user name you established when you registered.
Click on the RETRIEVE PASSWORD button. A confirmation message appears. You will receive your password at the e-mail address you supplied when you registered.

Job Search for Employers

Employers can use the Find a Job function in the Job Seeker section of the Home Page.

Find a Job

Use this section to search for a job.

To use Quick Search, fill in the information presented on the Home Page.
Or
To use Job Title search, click on the Job Title hyperlink.
Or
To use Keyword search, click on the Keyword hyperlink.
Or
To use Military Occupational Code (MOC) search, click on the Military hyperlink.

Employers

Register

Click on Register here to take advantage of all our services! in the Employer section of the home page. The Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy screen appears.

Functions

If you are not logged in, the Login screen appears if you click on these hyperlinks.

Click on Post a Job to access Job Builder.
Or
Click on Resume Scouts to access Resume Scout.
Or
Click on Manage Your Account to access My Account.

Job Seekers

Find a Job

Use this section to search for a job.

To use Quick Search, fill in the information presented on the Home Page.
Or
To use Job Title search, click on the Job Title hyperlink.
Or
To use Keyword search, click on the Keyword hyperlink.
Or
To use Military Occupational Code (MOC) search, click on the Military hyperlink.

Register

Click on register here in the Are you looking for your dream job? section of the home page. The Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy screen appears.

Functions

Click on Keep tabs on jobs with a Search Scout to access Job Scout.

Click on Post a Resume to access Resume Builder.
Or
Click on Create a Cover Letter to access Cover Letters.

Footer Navigation

About AJB - Clicking on About AJB takes you to a description of America’s Job Bank.
Link to Us - Clicking on Link to Us takes you to a page with instructions for adding a link to AJB to your home page
Privacy - Clicking on Privacy takes you to the page containing the privacy statement. This online Privacy Statement explains what information is collected, how that information is used and the steps that are taken to ensure your privacy while using America’s Job Bank. The Privacy Statement also explains how your information is protected after you leave our website.
Feedback - Clicking on Feedback allows you to fill out the Customer Evaluation Form or the Customer Comments Form.
Site Map - Clicking on Site Map allows you to view a hyperlinked outline of the America’s Job Bank web site.
Disclaimer - Clicking on Disclaimer takes you to the page containing the disclaimer statement.
